Chalk Box

WallNTRP 2.0–3.010 minforehandbackhand

Why this drill

Accuracy against the wall is invisible until you draw the target. One chalk box turns aimless rallying into scored placement practice — the wall equivalent of cones.

Setup

Chalk a box roughly a meter square, its bottom edge just above the net-height line. Stand five to six meters back.

The drill

Twenty forehands at the box, one bounce between hits, rallying continuously where possible — a box hit scores one. Then twenty backhands. Log both scores. Move the box a meter left or right each session so the target never becomes furniture.

One thought to take on court

Look at the box before the ball arrives, then watch only the ball — aim is chosen early, not steered late.
