Approach and Pass

Why this drill
One player learns to finish at the net; the other learns the two-shot pass — dip low, then swing free. This is the most match-realistic drill two players of any level can run.
Setup
Player A at the baseline center with balls; Player B at the opposite baseline. A feeds a deliberately short ball to start every point.
The drill
B attacks the short ball down the line and follows to the net; A plays the pass — dipping crosscourt, down the line, or lob, everything allowed. Play the point out. First to 10, then swap roles. The approacher tracks points won at net; the passer tracks passes that would have landed in even when volleyed.
One thought to take on court
Passer: the first ball's job is to dip at their feet, not to win — the second ball wins.
